1. What we collect (almost nothing)
GoodSiteReport has no accounts, no signup forms, and no email capture. When you run a scan, the URL you submit is fetched and analyzed on the fly and the results are shown to you - we do not ask for or store your name, email address, or any other personal details. Standard technical data needed to operate and secure the website (such as IP address and browser metadata in server logs) is collected automatically, as on virtually every website.
2. Scanned URLs
URLs submitted to the scanners are used to run the scan you requested. Scans only ever access publicly available pages - the scanner sees what any anonymous visitor sees.
3. Advertising and cookies
This site is supported by advertising, served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Visitors in regions with consent requirements (such as the EEA and UK) will be shown a consent prompt before advertising cookies are set.

Because the site does not collect personal information through forms, there is no submitted personal data to retain. Routine server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the operation of the site. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Third-party services
We use third-party tools - hosting, Google AdSense for advertising, and Google Analytics - that process limited technical data on our behalf, as described above.
